Drop in
replacement for the 516F-2 power supply. Aluminum chassis mates with
existing cabinet footprint. Made with solid state components, it
features a regulated B+ Low Voltage Supply, Adjustable Bias Voltage,
remote low current AC power switching, and 117/234VAC operation. Finely
tuned circuit, maximizes output, without inefficient waste of power.
Input AC power connects via standard 3 pin NEMA 5-15P/IEC 320 C13 cord
set, and onboard fuse protection. Output power connects via 3 ft. cable,
and terminates with 11 pin connector.

The Plug
and Play RF Speech Compressor installs in minutes, using a tube adapter.
It's purpose is to increase the average power of a single sideband (SSB)
voice signal, while keeping the peak amplitudes constant. This gives the
ability to have a strong received audio signal, and prevents SSB
distortion and splatter.
